MLP Announces Pick Order and Live Results for Waiver Period 2

MLP today announced the pick order for Waiver Period 2, with Premier scheduled for Thursday, August 8, beginning at Noon ET, and Challenger scheduled for Friday, August 9, beginning at Noon ET, with picks being made every 15 minutes.

First, some trade and other transaction news:

Aug. 7: the LA Mad Drops have acquired Anderson Scarpa and cash considerations from the Las Vegas Night Owls in exchange for Blaine Hovenier.

Aug. 8: Scarpa has been waived by LA and is eligible to be selected.

Aug. 8: The Atlanta Bouncers have acquired Susannah Barr from the California Black Bears in exchange for Genie Erokhina and cash considerations.

Aug. 9: The Las Vegas Night Owls have acquired Rafa Hewett from the California Black Bears in exchange for Mo Alhouni and cash considerations.

The full waiver order is determined using this process (from lowest to highest), to account for the difference in the number of matches played to this point in the season:

Points per match
First tiebreaker: Match win percentage
Second tiebreaker: Games won percentage

Non-contracted players, but the player must have a signed League contract before they step foot on court
